I had been suffering from chronic pain in my arms for some time. I tried many solutions but nothing was helpful. I met Paul and knew I had to try Rolfing. I play tennis and it was impossible to serve without pain.
Paul was thoughtful in his examination of me and was thorough in his questions to make sure he could solve my problem. He immediately went to work on the source of my pain. I had relief after just the first session. I will tell you that it is not a one time treatment though.

Paul’s rolfing techniques helped me recover from a fused neck operation. The surgery was necessary after a herniated disc in the neck requiring 4 vertebrae to be fused. Nerve damage had occurred. The results of the surgery was very successful but not perfect. Paul’s Rolfing helped ease issues with the neck and upper back. As well as integrating the rest of the body. Powerful stuff.
Paul helped me recover from a neck injury 2 days before my dance performance. The choreography involved so much head movement, I was really worried about making things worse, let alone managing the entire show. Paul was able to gently work with my injury and restore almost full range of motion after just one session.
But the work didn’t stop there. I noticed in the hours after our session how my range of motion continued to increase: a huge difference from before, when my neck seemed to get stiffer towards the end of the day. By the time of the performance, I felt confident moving my head with the vigor required. And I have Paul to thank for that amazing transformation!
Paul Wirth is an especially gifted rolfer. His eye in seeing problems is exceptional as well as his listening skills. He was able to solve several longterm issues for me through rolfing and mental imagery tools that he taught me.
I had never had rolfing done to me before, and had only heard about it years ago—that it was very intense and could be painful—but I was desperate with hip/back pain and willing to try.
Paul is very personable, gentle and intelligent so I was reassured in our initial meeting, describing my aches & pains and being given insightful information. The work he did was very focused, he explained to me exactly what he was doing and why and answered all my questions.
I was only able to have 3 or 4 sessions but even in that short time, my pain was lessened, my body seemed to be learning a new way to move or hold itself, and he gave me helpful suggestions about my posture, imagery I could use, and exercises that might be strengthening. I have been to Paul for both Rolfing and Craniosacral work. He has an incredibly healing touch and is very gifted at what he does.
I ran into Paul at a conference just after I had injured my right foot. I had surgery a month or two prior and was looking for some healing massage/body work to reduce the discomfort.
Paul was able to work with me a number of times and was always very thoughtful in his work. He did great soft tissue manipulation and was able to bring a good amount of movement into my foot. I also have chronic knee pain and he was able to improve my body alignment, which reduced much of the pressure in my knee. Thanks Paul for all your hard work as a Rolfer— highly recommended!
I’ve had a rib out for years after having my oldest daughter.
One session with Paul and I was pain free. As a professional figure skater, I needed to be on the ice pain-free. In addition to my rib, we worked on my pelvis and left IT band, which also allowed me to sleep much better.
The best part is that it stuck, I haven’t had those problems since my sessions with Paul!
